Come One !!
Come All !!
INTERNET & YOUTUBE GURUS !!
The right to vote is fundamental to American democracy. Many
have struggled to acquire and protect that right, sometimes
paying the ultimate price. But for many young people in this
country, Election Day is just another day. They view the political
process with cynicism, disdain, or, even worse, complete indifference.
The 1 Voice...1Vote campaign is a way to change that, by
combining the massive appeal of YouTube with the creative
ingenuity of youth, ages 13-29. Teach One Academy is launching
a national video competition designed to encourage young people
to register and vote in the 2008 Presidential election.

The goal of this competition is to give you, the contestants,
the opportunity to be part of the political process by making
your voices heard, while, at the same time, enlightening your
peers, and encouraging them to become involved. Your 1 Voice
and 1 Vote will make a difference on Tuesday, November 4th,
2008 in selecting either Senator McCain or Senator Obama as
the next president of the United States.
